Ideology Trumps – Logic, Common Sense and Truth!

If you hold a religious or atheistic ideology, you are forced to suppress instinctive reason to defend the cult’s paradigm in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Atheists have seen the failure of the Soviet Union, Communism and evolution, but in academia they continue to indoctrinate children with this groundless a-moral agenda; while endlessly seeking the “missing link” in evolution and a radical socialist utopia.

Theologians read biblical history and see: the Red Sea parted, Jesus walk on water, and his followers heal the sick and raise the dead; yet, they never question why none of those things are going on in the modern world.

The Crazy Aunt We Keep in the Basement.

We have all heard of the “Crazy Aunt” that a family doesn’t want anyone to know about. When friends come over they lock her in the basement, and when she makes disturbing noises they pretend they don’t hear anything.

Religion is mankind's crazy aunt!

Religion acts out some of the most bizarre and violent behavior right before our eyes, but we always stop our ears and cover our eyes. The World Trade Center was the most obnoxious case of this denial in recent memory.

Nineteen hijackers from Muslim countries, crashed airplanes loaded with people into buildings but “terrorism” is blamed. I have been watching the news ever since for even the slightest hint that the media would do its job and discuss the religious cause of this madness; it never happened. The closest they came was to blame “fundamentalist views" but not Islam, Christianity, Judaism or even atheism. The media is trying desperately to ignore this crazy aunt, and so far they have succeeded.

In the wake of 9/11, every department of government came under intense scrutiny by the 9/11 commission, but academia was given a pass. These intellectuals were quick to openly criticize all of the government agencies involved, for not knowing that the fanatics created by atheism and theology were about to crash planes into buildings. Never mentioned was the fact that these same intellectuals had spent the last forty years disparaging and dispiriting these poor people.

Here are the questions the 9/11 commission needed to ask in order to truly solve the problem of terrorism:

1) Does academia create the atheistic and theological concepts that divide mankind, and did those ideologies cause all of the holy wars, holocausts, jihads, and violent atheistic revolution of history?

2) Do they indoctrinate every world leader, government official and media personality with these inherently flawed concepts in their universities?

3) Does academia design our nuclear, biological and chemical weapons?

4) Did academia fail to solve the mystery of God and human existence?

Had they asked and answered those questions, they would have produced a solution that would not require Gestapo style check points at every public gathering in America.

Since 9/11, I have personally handed my book, The Awful Truth, to: Peter Jennings, Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly, Tim Russert and several other major talk show hosts. I even offered to buy advertisements on these shows, if the host would do an interview. In some cases, the Ad executives told me they can’t do it, because they “don’t do religious subjects.” The rest didn't even take the time to respond. Do these folks really think that the World Trade Center and subsequent wars in Iraq and Afghanistan aren’t religious subjects?

This week I saw George Will interviewed about the religious fervor of President Bush. He discussed the President’s Christian agenda from a political standpoint, but not the veracity of Christianity. At the end of the show, the interviewer asked him what religion he followed. He replied, “That is a private matter, it’s nobody’s business." Well I am sorry folks, but religion is everyone’s business. These “beliefs” are threatening our lives and those of our children. One hundred and thirty thousand young Americans are being shot at in Iraq and Afghanistan, and almost one thousand have been killed by believers in Islam. It is critical to know what religious agenda is behind the people making the news, those who pretend it doesn’t matter in the media, and those who indoctrinate our children with their flawed atheistic and religious beliefs, in academia.

If we are to prevent our crazy aunt from bringing a nuclear, biological or chemical dirty bomb up from the basement, we must bring her into the living room, discuss her bizarre behavior publicly and get her the psychological help she desperately needs – the truth!

Is God With Us in the War on Terror?

This is an excerpt form my next book. It is a comment on a speech that Herod made to the ancient Jews, as they were about to go into a battle with the Arabians who had taken their Ambassadors hostage. The Jews were vastly outnumbered, so Herod made a wonderful speech to give them courage in battle. My comment follows:

This was a wonderful speech by Herod, but there is a great danger in it that threatens us to this day. Herod made the case that God would support his men in battle because they were righteous. He says; “…what is righteous, is indeed on our side, but that the Arabians are either more courageous or more numerous than we are. Now, as to this, in the first place, it is not fit for us to say so, for with whom is what is righteous, with them is God himself; now where God is, there is both multitude and courage.”

Does God need men to fight righteous battles for Him? Did God need Moses to drown the armies of Pharaoh in the Red Sea? If God is with people, they have no need of an army! Throughout history: Christian, Jewish and Muslim leaders, have been building ever bigger armies and supplying them with ever more dangerous weapons to fight the “battles of God.” Like Herod, people who think that God is with them become extremely dangerous. These “godly” leaders have killed hundreds of millions of people in His name. As in the case of this ancient battle, we have recently seen the American Ambassador to Iran held hostage by a Muslim cleric. As long as we continue the pretence that the God of Abraham is interacting with mankind in the modern world, we will be in grave danger of slaughtering each other in “His name.”

It is incredible to me, that men who commit acts that are of the most profane nature (the Holocaust comes to mind) can actually convince themselves that it is God’s will. And even when they lose a war that was fought in the name of God, they never reach the conclusion that God is not interacting with them, rather that they were not holy enough at the time. They always find an excuse that allows them to continue the pretence, be they Christian, Muslim or Jew. They can’t all be right!

My Response to Letter A From Australia

Dear Philip,

Thank you for spreading the news of this discovery in Australia. You are not alone in your efforts. The Awful Truth has now been read by people in forty-two countries and fifty states. Please keep up the good work.

There are two questions that I find helpful when discussing the book with people indoctrinated by the "theory" (belief) of evolution.

1) It is a basic premise of atheistic evolution is that species evolve to better suit their environment, and that humans evolved from the primates.

Would a primate that lives in total harmony with the environment evolve into a human to better suit the environment?

2) It is another premise of evolution that we have been on an ever-ascending plane of human intelligence, from our days as unintelligent primates to the great universities of today.

If that is true, what caused the worldwide loss of knowledge we experienced in the deep ignorance of the dark ages, between the ancient and modern worlds?

If you need additional information, read chapter three of the book, and study the quotes from Michael Denton's book, "Evolution, A Theory In Crisis."

Thank you again. Please keep in touch.

Sincerely,
Patrick

P.S. There is no greater gift then the truth! Please consider purchasing additional books as gifts for your family and friends on special occasions. It is our only means of supporting the work. We have a discounted price for five books, in the website bookstore.
