10/20/2004: "The Harvard University Conference - "The Question Of God""

Public television recently aired a conference titled “The Question of God” at Harvard University. Sixteen participants from Atheism and Theology discussed this critical mystery. We are in the process of sending each a copy of my book The Awful Truth, and inviting them to critique my discovery.

Below is a copy of the cover letter. I will keep you informed of their reponses.

Dear Conference Participant,

My name is Patrick J. Conway, founder of Historical Realists Intl. and author of the book The Awful Truth.

I am writing to thank you for the Harvard University Conference: “The Question Of God.” That question has been the focus of my life for over forty years.

I watched the entire conference several times. The juxtaposition of Sigmund Freud and C.S. Lewis was fascinating. The discussions that followed were equally interesting, but I was disappointed by the fact that, once again, there was no conclusion. We have been debating the concepts of atheism and theology for two thousand years, and neither has provided a definitive or satisfactory solution to the mystery of God and human existence.

I am writing to ask you to consider our alternative position. It is based on over forty years of diligent research.
