09/01/2004: "“Thank God George Bush is Our President!” - Rudy Giuliani"

This is not a comment on the presidency of George Bush, nor is it a statement about Rudy Giuliani. This is about the extremely dangerous ignorance of God at the highest levels of our government.

I live in New York City. Rudy Giuliani was a great mayor, and I am very thankful to the voters of New York (not to God) that he was mayor on 9/11.

In Rudy’s address to the Republican Convention, I heard him say that as he watched the plane loads of people crash into the World Trade Center on 9/11, he grabbed the arm of Police Commissioner Kerrick and said; “Thank God George Bush is our President!” He did not say “Thank God those planes missed the buildings!”

A few days after the attack, I saw a TV clip where Osama Bin Laden praised Allah for the success of his mission to take down the World Trade Center.

Osama’s “Allah” and Rudy’s “God” are one and the same being. They can’t both be right!

I thank God for the lives He gave to my fellow human beings in the planes and towers, that were recklessly snuffed out by the flawed concepts of: Christianity, Judaism, Islam and Atheism on 9/11. It is time to fight the real cause of terrorism, academia’s failure to produce a definitive and verifiable solution to the mystery of God and human existence.
