Atheist Presents Case for Taking God From Pledge
By LINDA GREENHOUSE Published: March 25, 2004 The New York Times.
WASHINGTON, March 24 — Michael A. Newdow stood before the justices of the Supreme Court on Wednesday, pointed to one of the courtroom's two American flags and declared: "I am an atheist. I don't believe in God."

Realist Comment: This is a prime example of how the conflict between Atheism and Theology keeps society in turmoil.
Atheism and theology frustrate civil discourse in every aspect of our daily lives, not the least of which is the bitter political rivalry between liberals and conservatives. They even divide parents, who accept theologies' position, from their children who are indoctrinated with atheism in school.
Generations of people have now been programmed by atheism and theology. Most do not know, or even want to know, the violent history of these ideologies.
Is Mr. Newdow really an Atheist?
Does he know that atheism killed an estimated thirty million people in Europe and forty million in Asia?
Does he know that it caused the violent revolutions of: Russia, China, Cuba, Vietnam, Cambodia and Korea?
Does he know that atheism caused the Korean and Vietnam wars, the Cold War, the arms race and left us sitting atop deteriorating: nuclear, biological and chemical arsenals?
I don’t think Mr. Newdow knows the violent history of atheism. If he did, he wouldn’t stand before the Supreme Court of the United States and proudly say, "I am an atheist."
Atheists condemn the religious for ignoring their violent history; is that hypocritical?
We Are Not Evolving Primates, Nor Under The Care Of a personal God.
Neither of these flawed beliefs will survive as a viable explanation for human existence because they do not fit the reality in which we live. We must put aside these divisive atheistic and theological concepts and renew the effort to find a universal truth that will make us one mankind, with one truth.
The Awful Truth by Patrick J. Conway; provides a non-religious solution to the mystery of God and human existence, with definitive answers on both our origins and future.
